Cool idea, but the UI could need some work. Perhaps model the MacOS emoji menu a bit?

Symbols I find myself googling a lot are:

  Bullet: •
  Ellipsis: … (not the same as "...")
  Em Dash: — (longer than "-")
  Arrows: ←  →  ↑  ↓

They come in handy as minimalist replacements for emojis or UI icons occasionally.
