That probably depends on how much the thyroid function has been degraded already.

Whether CAR T will help stop the degradation is a separate question.

yeah true, my wifes likely to continue to need treatment, though it shouldnt degrade much more if it works.

On my daughter it may save her a lot of trouble she's only 14.
