I think it’s time to start being realistic and look at ways to mitigate the damage. That means moving people away from disaster zones, building up food/crop/aid/water reserves, and upgrading infrastructure to be much more resilient. We should abandon the idea that the ship is turning around this century or far more people are going to die.
Climate models are not inaccurate. They have error bars and a range of possible outcomes, but the models presented to the leaders and the public are in like the 10th percentile of severity, because otherwise the scientists are accused of being hysterical and overreacting. None of this is any surprise to climatologists.
And I don't download 80gb versions of movies. 2gb is more than enough.
I save 40x the energy.
Also, I know the original members of the Club of Rome from back in the 60s when they were threatening an ice age.
