But RFK didn’t say that autism had a single cause. Mother Jones said it was like RFKs speech was designed to set him up as the person that found this cause, and Mother Jones is only arguing with Mother Jones in saying this is incorrect.

Irrespective of one’s opinion of RFK, this is a textbook example of a straw man argument.
