I found the comparison between koalas and crows very interesting in terms of evolution and biology. But I got a bit lost in how that translates to software. The analogy kinda fell apart for me.

With some further development the concept of crow and koalas could become the next "what colour is your function", where people talk about coloured function without knowing of the original blog.

As it stands, this post falls short of delivering that. Maybe the point shouldn't be made on FE tech (a worn out and too concrete topic) but something slightly more abstract. Alas it is almost midnight and I am tired.

I love the setup, but this sadly fails to deliver. The author doesn't seem to have any idea how to fit the twists and turns of frontend software development trends onto the metaphor of koalas and crows.

BTW, jQuery has waned not because it got out-completed by something else, but because it won outright. All the useful things jQuery gave us have been migrated into the base.
