How do you keep up with AI/crypto/markets without drowning in noise?

I’m struggling with the usual problem: trying to stay up to date on AI, crypto, and markets without turning it into a part-time job.

Right now my inputs are a mix of newsletters, X/Twitter, podcasts, YouTube, and random links in group chats. It works… but it feels like I’m doom-scrolling “updates” more than actually understanding what matters.

I’m curious how people here handle this:

What does your actual weekly workflow look like to stay current?

Are there 1–2 sources you truly rely on (for AI / for crypto / for markets)?

Do you lean more on long-form (articles, reports) or short-form (briefs, dashboards, emails)?

Anything you’ve tried that didn’t work?

I’ve been experimenting with a very opinionated “one-minute weekly brief” + podcast at vasper.io, but I’m mostly interested in how HN readers think about information overload and what a useful setup looks like.

Would love to hear concrete routines, tools, and examples.
