Hello! I am a software engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, more than 10 years of experience and 10 professional certifications earned after a lot of study and hard work.

Up to anything, be it backend, frontend, blockchain, compilers, DevOps, embedded or mobile. Bonus point if there is a little bit of Rust involved.

If you are curious my greatest project is WTX, a fast WebSocket framework and Database client that gave me a lot of insights about performance and code architecture. See https://github.com/c410-f3r/wtx.

For more information, take a look at my CV (https://c410-f3r.github.io/curriculum.pdf).

I've been doing backend work for the past 14 years, with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework. I'm intimately familiar with schema and data migrations, including migrations between Django projects. I've done a lot of full-stack work as well, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and React.js. I've worked extensively with startups and I've worked with Twitter. I have a lot of experience working with distributed teams and am open to occasional travel. Available full (~32hrs) or part time. 20+ years experience in biotech drug development from discovery research to analytical development for small molecule, biologics (esp. antibodies & related modalities) and cell & gene therapies. Excellent communication skills to translate technical topics to a diverse audience. Happiest being challenged to learn new things, solve hard problems and work across disciplines. For example the most fun I had at ShapeTx was developing a Python class to analyze and visualize raw charge determination mass spec data on intact AAV vectors because no such software was available at the time.

Prefer startups and will cheerfully do whatever needs to get done without drama. Seeking intellectual stimulation and the opportunity to work on projects with positive impact more than a fancy title or high salary. I would also be interested in entry level data scientist or analyst roles (or anything else that engages my strategic thinking / analytical brain.)

I have been programming since the age of 13 and graduated with an integrated master's degree in 2024, however since then I've been staying afloat on unstable work. My experience has been quite broad in that time but my recent focuses in my spare time have been Python/Flask, and C/C++ (for a homebrew project on an old console that I enjoy contributing to) but my initial experience was with Java; the first thing I wrote was a CraftBukkit plugin that ended up getting over a million downloads.

I'd consider myself very good at quickly familiarising myself with unfamiliar frameworks/languages, so even if it's something I'm not experienced in, I would be more than willing to do a take-home, or something similar (which I enjoy, esp. if it's something new to me).

Looking for and would be grateful for any opportunities, including non-SWE, e.g. I.T., or even something non-technical if your company is hiring for other roles.

I do not use LLMs for any work or projects of mine, or prose I've written (personal preference, not a moral viewpoint).

Experience: 3 years Ruby on Rails

Hi! I'm Emrecan, a software developer with an unconventional background—I started with a bachelor's in Psychology before transitioning to software development six years ago. I spent three years as a Ruby developer in a fast-paced startup environment, where I built scalable web applications and worked across the stack.

In my free time, I design and implement a pure functional programming language using Rust, which keeps me engaged with language design, compilers, and type systems. I'm drawn to challenging technical problems and research-oriented projects—the kind with steep learning curves that push me to grow. If you're working on something intellectually stimulating beyond typical CRUD applications, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm a computer science professor with a PhD looking to make a move back to industry. I've been enjoying the teaching and research I'm doing, but I'm interested in getting back to making products people actually use. I have significant database and systems experience including as one of the PMC members of Apache Calcite, an open source relational data management platform used by Uber, Netflix, and others.

I have 10+ years experience as a software engineer/researcher (including as a grad student) and my lab, the Data Unity Lab at the Rochester Institute of Technology works on some cool stuff related to non-relational data management. I still find the time to write code both with my students and my own. Delivering high-quality code along with any work I publish is very important to me.

I'm interested in either senior software/data engineering or data science roles. The technology used is less important to me than an interesting product and a great team. I have a lot of experience picking up new tech quickly and I'm looking forward to using that in new ways.

Seattle-based full-stack engineer open to remote, hybrid, or in-office roles. Willing to relocate and actively interested in doing so.

My experience spans production full-stack web applications (Postgres, Express, React, Node), cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, browser automation using Selenium, and Windows desktop tooling with Tkinter and PyInstaller.

I’m currently operating in a self-defined Forward Deployed Engineer–style role, working across technical implementation and customer-facing responsibilities, and I’m comfortable partnering closely with sales and non-technical stakeholders. (https://cadocary.com)

Earlier in my career, I worked in electronics and hardware, including DO-160–compliant aircraft electronics testing, circuit design, and electrical bench instrumentation—experience that strongly informs my approach to reliability and systems thinking.

A defining part of my background is teaching computer science at Central Washington University. I taught nearly all core CS degree courses, authored four original courses that were added to the official catalog, and earned the highest student evaluation scores in the department across all quantitative metrics. Full-stack JavaScript-focused engineer/entrepreneur with lots of experience in building scalable single page apps in different frameworks, web3, multiplayer web games, building transformers and other networks, all sorts of things. Product-oriented, executive and leadership experience, comfortable in both autonomous and collaborative settings, capable Linux sysadmin. I know how to ship.

I've focused for several years now on agentic and generative work such as simulating networked LLM-augmented embodied agents, interface research, too much to list here but always happy to talk more over email. While the rest of the industry is just starting to latch onto agentic systems, I can offer years of experience and product insight.

Available for consulting, projects, anything web or agentic.

12+ years of experience building iOS and macOS apps of all kinds. Dropped business school in 2014 when I got hired into a growing startup and moved to SF. Eventually cofounded and built an early crypto app and raised a small seed. Hired 3 people but legal issues sunk us after a year or two. Joined an international crypto exchange and rebuilt their iOS app from the ground up in Swift, hired a team around it (8 people) and managed it all as the iOS Tech Lead for 4+ years until mid-2023. Took a break after a decade of constant employment, been managing my personal funds and building nonstop on side projects and financial tools. Would be keen to switch gears again to join a good crew and contribute to something bigger.

Hi, I'm Jonathan. I’m currently doing DevOps work for an open source project and operate a small web hosting company. My skillset is focused on the DevOps side, with a bit of general dev experience primarily with Python. I have a PhD in Physics, my research focus was computational biophysics. On the side I also host my own infrastructure as a hobby, from the hardware to the nameservers and everything in between.

I'm a strong communicator, having collaborated across disciplines and presented work for both technical and non-technical audiences. Having worked at startups before, I’m comfortable wearing many hats (and enjoy the variety). I'm self-motivated and love to dig into new complex problems and learn new tools.

Résumé/CV: https://www.geary.com/resume.html or https://www.geary.com/resume.pdf and https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelgeary/

Email: mike@geary.com

Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:

• Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.

• Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.

• Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.

• Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.

• Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.

Open to full time or contract.

I look forward to talking with you!

I was never in webdev, per se. I switched from "fullstack" (which included backend+frontend as well as mobile/firmware/ML) to hardware eng at IBM, and then widened back out again to R&D Engineering at a startup to work on a patent. I had always wanted to be closer to hardware/embedded and anything that involves sensor-laden and/or RF-enabled systems so it was a natural progression for me.

Senior iOS engineer / consultant (12+ years). I build and rescue iOS and Vision Pro apps that have to work: medical devices, high-traffic consumer apps, and anything where your previous freelancer said “not possible”.

I am usually brought in for the awkward parts: background reliability, performance/crash triage, architecture refactors, and migrations (SwiftUI, TCA, Swift Concurrency).

Available for MVP builds, agency oversight, joining your team for a sprint or three, and due diligence (I read the codebase and tell you what’s solid, what’s duct tape, and what it’ll take to fix).

Résumé/CV: https://linkly.link/2Wb4u

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michal-svec/

I'm a motivated final year CS student who will be ready for full time employment in 07/2026 so I'm seeking junior/graduate level roles that revolve around backend stuff and where I can learn a lot.

I started programming on my own at the age of 15. Since then, I have explored multiple areas, including mobile app development (native and Flutter), web development (React, Next.js, Vue), QA, MLOps, and AI/ML. During this exploration phase, I realized that I want to focus my career on backend development.

My experience includes several internships and side projects. In my most recent internship at JetBrains, I worked on the backend for remote Kotlin code compilation. Prior to that, I worked at Dell on the MLOps team, where I gained exposure to DevOps and some cloud technologies.

You can check out my resume and GitHub (link included in the resume) for a complete overview of my experience and side projects.

Most of my coding experience is in Java and Python. I also really enjoy Kotlin and I am currently learning Go (Golang) by building a simple VPN as a side project. I prefer working with strongly typed languages. For example, I don’t have much experience with Rust or C++ but I’m eager to learn.

Feel free to reach out to me via email or connect with me on LinkedIn. My personal details are included in my resume.

Do you need the expertise of a seasoned software engineer for a project but don't have the budget for someone full-time? Are you willing to have the project completed asynchronously, on an hourly basis, in around 1-15 hours per week? If so, we should talk (the introductory call is free). I have around a decade of experience (see below) and am available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays as well as some times on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (MWF I teach math & Latin at a small classical school). My standard rate is $100/hour for async work, $150/hour if there's tighter deadlines. Discounts available for special circumstances :)

Work experience:

- Built a tool (non-AI) to read Latin texts and generate fully-parsed glossaries. I used this tool in a few Latin readers I've published recently.(Tech: Clojure, Ada)

- Built a billing system, using Stripe integration, for a B2B SAAS app.

- Fractional team lead for Learnics. Wrote a bibliography generator that supports MLA, APA, and Chicago style. (Tech: Vue, Firebase)

- Built the front-end for https://app.composer.trade, a systematic trading app. Took the company from designs all the way through launch. (Tech: Clojure/Script, Firebase)

- Created a fuzz-testing tool that takes in a language grammar (EBNF) and uses that to generate syntactically correct random text in that language.

- Built a video-hosting and sharing site for family videos. (Tech: Reagent, Clojure/Script, S3, CouchDB, Stripe)

- Created the https://github.com/deckeraa/couchdb-auth-for-ring/ open-source library that enables you to use CouchDB as an authentication back-end for Ring apps.

- Led a team of ~17 software developers for the business intelligence module of a large healthcare IT company.

I work to fixed price quotes for self-contained projects.

The best live example of my work is Checkbot (https://checkbot.io/), a browser extension that tests websites for SEO/speed/security problems. The entire project is my own work including coding the extension itself, UX/UI design, website design (the homepage is optimised to load in 0.7 seconds, 0.3MB data transferred), marketing, website copy, and website articles on web best practices.

Location: The Netherlands. I'm flexible with working hours, I usually work with clients from either Western Europe or the USA.
  Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: No, but willing to travel/visit
Technologies: especially Ruby (including Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, and standalone applications), PostgreSQL, Ansible, Linux. Lots of others at the end of my comment.
  Résumé/CV: https://www.luitjes.it

I do dev/devops/security, usually for startups or scale-ups or other small orgs with limited resources, and I've been doing that for 15+ years. So, if you:

* Have a slow web application that’s often down?

* Want to improve security and don’t know where to start?

* Have a legacy system that needs to be replaced?

* Are considering an acquisition but not sure about the technical side?

I can help with that. For example, in the past I have:

* Massively improved performance and reliability for a data visualization platform.

* Led a large effort to improve security for a cybersecurity SaaS.

* Built a micropayments system for a prominent media startup.

* Rebuilt an aging e-learning platform from scratch for a GDPR compliance SaaS.

* Conducted technical due diligence for acquisitions.

For more information: https://www.luitjes.it

Other tech I've worked with: Elixir, C#, Java (Spring/Hibernate), JavaScript, HTML/CSS/XSLT/XPATH/XSLFO, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Solr/Lucene, Graphite, Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Icinga, Jenkins, Varnish, HAProxy, Pound, Nginx, Apache, Passenger, Vagrant, Docker, DCOS, Kubernetes, SSH, OpenVPN, TCP/IP, tcpdump/strace/lsof/etc, AWS (EC2, ELB/ALB, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Batch, VPC, etc.

SEEKING WORK - Data scientist, consulting & fractional leadership, US/remote worldwide, email in profile.

I'm a data scientist with 20+ years experience who enjoys gnarly, avant-garde problems. I saved a German automaker from lemon law recalls. I've worked with a major cloud vendor to predict when servers would fail, allowing them to load shed in time.

Some of the things I've done:

    - Oil reservoir & well engineering forecasting production.
    - Automotive part failure prediction (Lemon law recalls)
    - Server fleet failure prediction allowing load shedding.
    - Shipping piracy risk prediction - routing ships away from danger.
    - Realtime routing (CVRP-PD-TW, shifts) for on demand delivery.
    - Legal entity and contract term extraction from documents.
    - Wound identification & tissue classification.
    - The usual LLM and agent stuff. (I'd love to work on effective executive functioning)
    - Your nasty problem here.
I use the normal stacks you'd expect. Python, Pytorch, Spark/ray, Jupyter/Merimo, AWS, Postgres, Mathematica and whatever else is needed to get the job done. Ultimately it's about the problem, not the tools.

I have years of experience helping companies plan, prototype, and productionize sane data science solutions. Get in touch if you have a problem, my email is in my profile.

NB: Don't contact me if you're doing ads, gambling, or Enshittification.. I'd like to sleep at night.

Looking for contract or consulting work. I can do development (iOS, macOS, web). I can solve dev velocity challenges and implement Continuous Deployment. And I can overhaul QA and production health practices within organizations by working directly with teams and management.

  Location: Toronto
  Remote: yes
Willing to relocate: no (but I am a US citizen and am frequently in NYC)
Technologies: Apple native development (SwiftUI, UIKit, AppKit), Python, Django, Postgres, devops tools. Scalability and high availability and dev velocity focused skill set, besides the mobile dev work. I am proficient with OpenAI Codex for assisted coding (I understand how to review its work and direct the architecture) and am perfectly capable of manual coding/debugging too.
Résumé/CV: N/A at the moment (contact me for it) but I built and scaled the backend for DrawQuest (top 10 iPad/iOS app), directed teams (devops, platform, full stack, mobile) at Top Hat for 8 years, and independently built this iOS app business the last few years: https://reader.manabi.io

Hi, I'm Vincent, an engineer with 10+ years of experience working in all parts of the engineering stack. Most recently I've worked on the front end side of things and am specialized in using React professionally, but I'm quick to pick up new technologies as necessary. (personally I prefer Svelte when working on my own projects) Go and Typescript are my two favorite languages. I've consistently been told by my managers that I work fast or was one of the best engineers they had on their team.

Personally I'm looking for a job that I feel like actually has some kind of positive benefit on the world, or something that seems particularly challenging or interesting. This can range anywhere from a note-taking application to managing retirement funds to writing a Typescript to Go compiler to writing a new database. I'm not interested in one of the 5 million AI hype cycle jobs (partly because I dislike LLMs), and I actively hate the blockchain, ads, and tracking users. I do not, and will never, compromise on privacy issues.

A list of things you should know about me and how I'm going to do my best work for you:

* I want to be able to work on something a bit more interesting than another simple REST application.

* I want my hours to be flexible, meaning when I start/end or being able to take some time in the middle of the day for groceries or a doctors appointment.

* I want to be able to come up with ideas I think would be useful/interesting and be given some time to work on them. I know that there are things I'm going to have to do for the business that aren't going to be these things, but I need some amount of time to do this or I'm going to struggle as a worker.

* I'm going to have strong opinions about all sorts of things, and I expect to be able to have a conversation about them and not just be dismissed.

* I'm going to want to improve things, and if I continuously get told "no", it's going to kill my morale.

I've previously lived in Japan a couple decades ago and studied the language intensively for 2 years at that time in one of the schools dedicated to helping foreigners go to university or get jobs there. (specifically at: 東京平田日本語学院. I almost passed JLPT N2 then, but I'm nowhere close to that level currently) I've recently been picking back up on studying Japanese again to maybe fulfill a long-held dream of going back to Japan longer than a vacation. So on the off chance you're someone in Japan hiring for a position you think I'd be a fit for (and you're not a black company), please reach out.

  Location: Lyon, France
Remote: Yes, I love remote work.
Willing to relocate: Yes, to New York City, Stockholm, a large German city that isn't Berlin, or a large city in the Netherlands
Technologies: Go, Rust, Elixir, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Clojure and ClojureScript, FreeBSD, Linux, Postgres, MySQL, compilers, web services, mathematics and logic, writing

Hello ^_^

I'm open to a new job. My main goal is learning, so I'm particularly interested in roles that would let me learn more about technologies and topics I am interested in.

I have a Master's in Mathematics, with a specialization in Discrete Maths and Theoretical Computer Science. I really enjoy Logic and Number Theory, so I'd be very keen to work on things like formal verification or cryptography. You can find my master's thesis on my website. I'm also interested in compilers and applications of graph theory to computer networks and operating systems.

I have ample professional experience with Go, and have dabbled a fair amount with Rust, a somewhat smaller amount with Elixir, Clojure and ClojureScript in my spare time. I'd be very interested in continuing my exploration of Clojure and ClojureScript, or building more with Elixir or Rust.

I use the FreeBSD operating system as my daily driver, and would be thrilled to use it professionally as well. I also have ample experience with Linux, having used Ubuntu and Debian as daily drivers, and Debian in a professional context for years.

In terms of what I can offer, I'm honest, I'm kind, I'm motivated, rigorous and curious. I'm a good writer, and I enjoy writing documentation, and technical texts. I have over five years of experience as a professional developer, I have written a LOT of Go code, and I'm comfortable debugging complex systems.

I can collaborate on large projects, having worked full time at a large tech company for several years and made a few open-source contributions.

I can work well with clients - I spent over a year working as a salesperson in a very busy Paris H&M. While there, my then manager gave me what is, over 7 years later, still my favorite professional feedback: "you get along with everyone".

you can find my personal site at https://arielche.net/

and you're welcome to email me with any questions or requests for further information that you might have.
