HN doesn't offer daily email alerts. Other people offer that, but it is not a feature directly from HN. You probably should ask whatever other service you are using.

I've been subscribed to HackerNewsLetter [1] for a few years. As others have said, though, HN doesn't have an official email alerts feature.
