DietPi released a new version v10.0

DietPi is a lightweight Debian based Linux distribution for SBCs and server systems, with the option to install desktop environments, too. It ships as minimal image but allows to install complete and ready-to-use software stacks with a set of console based shell dialogs and scripts.

The project released the version DietPi v10.0 on January 25th, 2026.

The highlights of this version are: Minimum supported Debian version: Raised from Bullseye (Debian 11) to Bookworm (Debian 12) ownCloud Infinite Scale: New software package, replaces ownCloud Uptime-Kuma: New software package, a monitoring tool for your system Sparky SBC, NanoPi M2/T2/Fire2, and NanoPi M3/T3/Fire3 families: Removed support due to very old vendor images RPi Cam Web Interface, Pydio: Removed. They do not support Bookworm and higher Quartz64: Support of the new NPU driver Fixes for Radxa ZERO 3, Orange Pi 3/3 LTS/3B, NanoPi R2S, NanoPi NEO3, ROCK64 Fixes for Home Assistant, BirdNET-Go, Mopidy Raspberry Pi Imager: Support of DietPi as a selectable “Other general-purpose OS”
