I've noticed the opposite. Over the last two weeks or so I'm seeing a higher false positive rate from the GMail filters. Email from a groups.io discussion that I've been subscribed to for years is suddenly getting tagged as spam. Not all from that source, but about 1%. I haven't noticed any uptick in correctly filtered spam.

Not currently, but I notice that when there is a site breach I get notified about, I get an uptick of new spam/fraud texts/calls shortly after for a few weeks. Could be that it's just your turn for the spam.
