Hi HN,

I’ve been working on a tool called AI Timeline Maker (https://timeline-maker.org) to solve a workflow problem I kept running into.

Creating timelines for project roadmaps, research, or historical topics is usually very manual. Most tools require adding events one by one, which becomes slow when working with long documents or structured content.

The idea behind this tool is simple: Instead of starting from a blank canvas, you start with content. You can input text or upload a document, and the AI generates a structured timeline draft automatically. After that, everything is fully editable in a visual editor.

I’m especially interested in feedback on: - Whether AI-generated timelines are actually useful in real workflows - The balance between automation and manual control - Potential use cases I may be overlooking

Built as a browser-based tool with a focus on speed and usability.

Happy to answer any technical or product questions.
